“I really enjoyed Authenic Leadeership and entrepreneurial creativity program, it was very insightful and gave me the pportunity to meet and integrate with friends from different backgrounds and cultures. I am glad I got to broaden my knowledge about creative leadership techniques, and I would definitely recommend anyone considering to attend the course!” Nicole, UK
“Authenic Leadeership and entrepreneurial creativity was both inspiring and empowering. It showed me that out-of-the-box thinking and creative problem-solving are not only beneficial but essential for businesses today. It laid a good foundation of the principles one must understand in order to apply creative thinking to business strategy successfully. The small group setting and interactivity of the course contributed to a rich learning, personal and cultural experience within the welcoming environment of BSB and the city of Dijon.” Michele, South Africa
SUMMER SCHOOL 2024
MODULE 1: AUTHENTIC LEADERSHIP
From July 1st to 5th, 2024
This very unique leadership programme is based on the simple and somehow radical idea that leadership is not reserved to a small selection of people at the top of a business. But that everyone can be a leader, regardless of role or title.
The programme uses several highly innovative learning approaches to help students discover and apply their uniqueness as a leader. It goes beyond traditional leadership theory and encourages authenticity, action, and the courage to seek one’s true leadership identity.
We start by exploring the “outer layer” of your personality profile using the Process Communication Model® (PCM), and then go deeper into understanding our systemic impact on others, using the systemic leadership tool “the Emergence Play”. We then apply learning in the field through a one-day outdoor adventure where one’s personal and team-leadership skills are put into action.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME
- Being aware of my unique leadership qualities and areas of improvement
- Learning to be both an authentic and people-centred leader
- Understanding one’s personality profile using Process Communication Model® (PCM)
- Respecting my own and other peoples’ psychological needs to diminish stress and communicate successfully.

During this day, predefined teams will complete several outdoor challenges to learn about their team leadership abilities. The day will end with a debriefing by the lake.
Day 5: Reinventing organizations
Putting my learning into a bigger & future perspective: Concretely, how can I help my organization evolve? How can I make use of my strengths as a leader?

MODULE 2: INNOVATION & DESIGN THINKING
From July 8th to July 13th
“If I had one hour to solve a problem, I would spend 55 minutes to understand the problem and 5 minutes to solve it” (Albert Einstein)
There is no problem without a context! And those are created by human beings. If we take the time and effort to explore that context, the real problem will appear, together with the best possible solution/s.
This programme is based on the innovation method Human Centered Design Thinking which will be applied to a local real-life company mission. Students will benefit from 10-years of international consulting experience with Design Thinking and apply a very powerful innovation method to a real existing problem.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME
- Developing my capacity to look beyond the surface of a problem and identify its real sources.
- Learning to take an authentic and empathy-based perspective on a problem.
- Engaging creatively with one’s environment.
- Select, create and use qualitative research methods for innovation purposes
- Learning to select and apply creativity techniques appropriately.
- Generating powerful and innovative solutions
